
Online Access to the New York Times
Reeves Library offers all Westminster students, faculty, and staff free access to the New York Times! This means that members of the community have full access to nytimes.com, the mobile app for iOS and Android, specific subject newsletters, as well as the New York Times Teaching Network.

Creating your NYTimes Account
- Go to www.accessnyt.com and start typing Westminster College in the search box. Select "Westminster College-Missouri-Fulton, MO" once it appears.
- You will then see an orange box with paths to continue based on whether you are on campus ("click here") or off campus (Go button).
- If you do not already have a NYT account using your Westminster email address, click Create Account.
- In the next prompt, you will create a new login using your Westminster email address. It will need to end in @westminster-mo.edu or @wcmo.edu.
- Verify your account via the confirmation email.
*Note that now that your account is set up, you can go directly to the New York Times and log in like normal!

- The Learning Network is a collection of educational content for instructors of all grade levels. Teach and learn with The New York Times. Find things like lesson plans, writing prompts, videos, contests, and more!
- New York Times Cooking offers recipes for all skill levels and ingredient types. Sign up for the newsletter to get recipes, tips, and NYT special offers delivered right to your inbox.
- The Wirecutter is a tech consumer report section of the New York Times that offers independently reviewed and recommended products.
- New York Times Graphics offers data visualization through maps and other aspects of visual journalism.
