Using Books at Reeves Library

Use this guide to learn more about using physical books and ebooks at Reeves Library!

 

How to Download Ebooks from Discovery 


You will need 2 different accounts to successfully download an ebook onto your device. Below are the instructions for downloading, which will require an EBSCO Discovery account, and an Adobe Digital Editions account. Both are free to create and will allow you to easily download ebooks going forward. 

Once you have found a book to download, during the download process you will be prompted to create an EBSCO Account, as well as confirm that you have an Adobe Digital Editions account. 

  • Once you find an Ebook you are interested in, you can click "Full Download" on the left side.

  • Once you have selected full download, you will be prompted to the following screen: 

Download Ebook pop up after you have created your ebsco account.

  • This is now your chance to download Adobe Digital Editions if you have not already! You can click the link in the pop-up, and follow the directions provided by Adobe. You must have this downloaded to open your downloaded ebook.
  • If you have Adobe Digital Editions downloaded, you can select EPUB or PDF, check that you do have Adobe Digital Editions, and then press Full Download.
