If you are looking for something that Reeves Library doesn't have, you can easily request items through MOBIUS. MOBIUS is our connection to almost every other academic library in the state of Missouri, with some public libraries as well. MOBIUS even extends into other nearby states, providing seemingly unlimited access to all students, faculty, and Westminster staff!
There are a few ways we can easily search the MOBIUS catalog.
When you search in the Mobius catalog, you will need to log in to make a request. Similarly to Locate, you will log in at the top right corner. Locate and the Mobius Catalog will look very similar. To make sure you are in the Mobius catalog, you can find the Mobius and OpenRS catalog images on the left side.
When you log in, all you will need to do is go through the drop-down to find Westminster College. Then, you will either be automatically logged in through OpenAthens or prompted to log in with your WC email and password.
Once you are logged in, you can easily make requests!
Once you have logged in, you are ready to make a request. Select a title from the search results, from the record, you can find the 'Place a Hold' button circled below.
These records also show us which libraries have each item, and how many copies are available.
When you are ready to request, click the "Place a Hold" button, and select Westminster College for your pick-up location.
If you would like to manage your requests, you can visit your bookshelf back in the Reeves Library Locate catalog.
MOBIUS books get delivered every day Monday-Friday. Depending on where your request is coming from it can take anywhere between 1-5 days to arrive. You will get an email sent to your Westminster College email account when your book has arrived.
To pick up your materials, stop by the Reeves Library front desk. MOBIUS books check out for 28 days.
