Patrons are responsible for renewing or returning items on or before their due dates. Library users can access their accounts via the Locate catalog.
Courtesy notices are sent 3 days prior to the due date. Notices are sent to your WC email account. Overdue notices are sent 1 day after an item is due. Non-receipt of a notice is not cause for waiving fines or fees.
Fines/fees may be paid by check, or money order at the Circulation Desk. Accounts that accrue two hundred dollars in fines/fees will be blocked until the fees are paid or items returned. All charges are non-refundable once they have been transferred from the Library account. If an item is a Reeves Library item, as long as it's returned in good condition, fines will be waived.
If items belong to a Mobius library, it is up to the lending library on how they handle their fines.
Items reach lost status once fourteen days overdue. At that time, replacement and maximum overdue fees accrue on the borrower's account. Patrons are billed the purchase cost of an item or a standard replacement fee when the cost is not available from the vendor. Lost or overdue items remain the property of the Reeves College Library and must be returned if located.
Patrons must notify the Circulation Desk when returning items that are damaged. Obvious physical damage to an item that occurred while it was checked out may result in the patron being charged a fee to repair or replace the item.
