Preserving the Past, Inspiring the Future: Dr. William E. Parrish Westminster College Archives and Special Collections
The Dr. William E. Parrish Westminster College Archives safeguards and provides access to Westminster College's rich historical record, including original documents, rare books, and unique artifacts. This collection connects students, faculty, researchers, and the Fulton community with these primary sources, fostering a deeper understanding of the College's legacy and enduring impact.
The purpose of this collection is to store and preserve the primary sources we have acquired through various departments of Westminster College, as well as donations and gifts from alumni. Digitization and access are key elements to a successful archival collection and will help preserve our history for many years to come.
The primary audience for this collection is currently faculty, staff, and students looking to take part in learning more about Westminster’s past, as well as alumni and outside researchers. This collection provides a historical overview through photos, institutional documents, Westminster publications, and memorabilia.
The Special Collections make up donations that are not Westminster-specific but are notable donations by faculty and alumni. These consist of books, paintings, manuscripts, letters, memorabilia, and more.
