In December 2024, Reeves Library and Westminster College held a dedication ceremony for the Westminster College Archives, honoring Dr. William E. Parrish, who helped establish the modern collection through his research for the first edition of Westminster College: An Informal History, published in 1971.
Parrish joined Westminster College in 1955, serving as Chair of the History Department for two intervals, and Dean from 1973-1975. He has also served as the Westminster Historian since 1965 and is best known for his book Westminster College: An Informal History and its various editions.
